"I purchased a Little Ripper Limited Edition on the 24th April 2015 and I could not be any more satisfied by the faultless service I received from JPGavan. The cricket store and brand, run by Josh Gavan provided me with a custom made cricket bat to improve and suit my overall game. As an individual Josh is an avid cricket fan who offers a service which I found to be unmatched in the market. When making enquiries with other custom bat makers I found to be pressured and pushed into a purchase. Josh ensured me there would be no pressure on any purchase and regularly kept me in form of any offers he could provide, this allowed me a period of 6 months to make an informed decision. When making the bat Josh provided me with a specifications form to allow me to describe in detail my ideal bat. Through his sheer knowledge of the game, Josh instructed me on how he could provide a service beyond expectation. This is backed up by Josh learning his trade internationally, travelling to countries such as India. The bat making process was smooth and reassuring with Josh regularly keeping me updated with the progress on social media, he sent pictures of the bat through various stages of the crafting. The bat was posted interstate and Josh gave me detailed and coherent information regarding various aspects of this. When I received the bat I was in awe. Josh had provided me with a custom made bat like no other I had seen, he had made it to exact specifications and despite it being 4oz lighter than my Gray Nicolls Powerbow 500s, it outclassed it in performance. I also purchased a pair of batting gloves for $85. These were the equivalent of gloves he had provided to 2015 World Cup players such as Aftab Alam and Tawanda Mupariwa, a credit to Josh for being able to provide quality products at such an affordable price. In conclusion, I would highly recommend any JPGavan products as Josh will ensure your money is spent wisely and you leave satisfied, also with a superior product. I have recommended JPGavan locally and I would encourage you to enquire."

"Josh is incredibly passionate about his practice, and this passion is clearly reflected in the quality of his bats and gear. The service is personal, and he's always willing to go the extra mile to make sure the product is made to the highest standard, and personally tailored to your individual needs. I was extremely happy with how his bats performed this previous season, and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone wanting superior service and quality bespoke products."
"I bought a Grade 1 English Willow Little Ripper in February of this year. Josh customised it for me in terms of weight, balance, shape and handle - and, as a result, the bat has a beautiful feel to it. It also has a fantastic middle - better than any bat I have bought off the shelf in stores. Josh is great to deal with, and clearly knows how to craft a bat. My next bat is definitely going to be another JPGavan."
